Tom Healy

Tom Healy’s credits as a producer, sound engineer, and guitarist read like a Top 10 of New Zealand indie: Marlon Williams, The Veils, The Chills, Tiny Ruins, Nadia Reid, Die! Die! Die!, The Verlaines, Ladyhawke. It’s been a career dedicated to making other people sound good.

Healy grew up in Marlborough, but says musically he felt closer to Manhattan. A classically trained pianist from a young age, it was during his final years of high school that he first picked up a guitar and discovered a few formative albums.
