Tim Finn Profile

Kerry Doole
6 Oct 2013

Tim Finn will forever be linked with Split Enz above all else, but this elder statesman of New Zealand music has maintained a fascinating and prolific solo career for almost 40 years now.

Aside from amassing a solo discography now in the double figures, he scored international success with  Crowded House during the Woodface era, produced quality work with younger sibling Neil in the Finn Brothers, and has written extensively for film and the stage. He is undeniably one of our most distinctive and distinguished voices, both as a lyricist and singer.
