Relaxomatic Project

Relaxomatic Project formed in 1998 around a core of former New Loungehead guitarist Dan Sperber and Nixons/EyeTV drummer Luke Casey.

This jazz collective were a regular live feature in the late 1990s and early 2000s around Auckland, catching the eye of Antenna Recordings’ boss Trevor Reekie, who released two albums with the band. Their debut Relaxomatic Project came out in 1999, followed by Relaxomatic Projections in 2002.
