First Fifteen

Like most Wellington punk acts of the early 1980s, First Fifteen, with Blaise Orsman on guitar, Tim Scott on vocals, Scott McFarlane on bass and Jeff Miles on drums, wrote about their political concerns.

They did it with a quirky, fractured grind and freaked vocal on ‘Fascist Tango’, a song about police oppression on the New Zealand capital’s streets from their 1982 7-inch EP Yeah Mate.
